How to Increase In-store Sales With Digital Tools | Moxie Pulse

Mobile shopping start-up AisleBuyer has just introduced mClerk, a new tablet application that lets store employees take customers through a product catalog, pull up relevant coupons and product reviews and even check customers out.
mClerk is the first in-store shopping assistant to also include checkout capabilities. This feature requires no additional accessories. The tablet’s camera is simply used as a scanner.
Implication: You can increase sales by equipping your staff to show people coupons and product information on the sales floor. By bringing the benefits of e-commerce into the store, you neutralize many of the potential reasons a customer may to wait to buy.
