Tuesday 10/25/11 – First Live X Factor Show Draws Premiere-Level Audience
Growing 16% from last week and matching its premiere ratings, last night’s first live telecast of X Factor (3.57 A18-49 Live Rtg) led FOX to a #1 status among A18-49.
Up against heavier competition from FOX, CBS still improved overall for the night among A18-49 with both NCIS (3.27) and NCIS: LA (3.21) posting modest A18-49 increases over last week. Unforgettable (2.24) at 10pm was roughly flat from its previous episode, but remained ahead of the year ago time period performance of The Good Wife.
ABC’s 8pm comedies took a hit against X Factor with Last Man Standing (2.18) down 13% among A18-49 and the second episode of Man Up! (1.68) down 20% from its premiere. Having already established its A18-49 audience this season, Dancing with the Stars was on par from last week. At 10pm, Body of Proof (1.58) also delivered similar viewership levels week to week among A18-49.
A two hour Biggest Loser on NBC held flat with A18-49 from a week ago, while an encore of Prime Suspect at 10pm in place of Parenthood, ranked last in the hour.
The CW was in repeat mode, choosing to air back-to-back repeats of Ringer last night.
