Canal Plus in talks to control Poland’s TVN - Financial Times

Canal Plus, the pay-TV subsidiary of France’s Vivendi, is in negotiations with TVN, one of Poland’s leading private broadcasters, that could end with the French group taking control of the network.

ITI, the company which owns 56 per cent of the Polish broadcaster, said in July that it was “reviewing its strategic options regarding its controlling stake in TVN”, which is one of Poland’s main free-to-air TV companies as well as a leading pay-TV and internet portal operator.
