Tuesday 10/18/11 – X Factor on Tuesday Pushes Fox to #1, ABC’s Man Up! Debuts

With the World Series scheduled to begin tonight, FOX moved up X Factor (3.08 A18-49 Live Rtg) to Tuesday, drawing in a slightly larger A18-49 than Sunday’s special airing that pushed CBS out of first place for the night.

Ranking second, CBS’ line-up of NCIS (3.17), NCIS: LA (2.92) and Unforgettable (2.29) still delivered stronger A18-49 audiences than last week, although both NCIS and NCIS: LA suffered some declines from year ago airings.

As expected, ABC’s Last Man Standing (2.52) dropped in week 2 among A18-49, however, the show still garnered a significantly stronger audience than the year ago time period.  Retaining 83% of its lead-in, the series premiere of Man Up! averaged a 2.09 A18-49 Live Rtg, 21% lower than the second half of No Ordinary Family’s debut last fall.  Despite growing slightly out of its lead-in, Dancing with the Stars Results (2.22) declined 23% from last week among A18-49.  Experiencing less erosion from week ago, Body of Proof was still off from year ago’s Detroit 1-8-7 performance.

In fourth place, NBC’s Biggest Loser (1.61) and Parenthood (1.64) stumbled a bit from last week down 5% and 9%, respectively, with A18-49.

Gaining some traction, The CW’s 90210 (0.54) and Ringer (0.61) grew week-to-week among A18-49, with the latter posting increases for the third consecutive week.
